L'Iperico
L’iperico è anche una pianta detta “erba del sorriso” in quanto è molto utile nei disturbi dell’umore. Una leggenda racconta che se vi capita di inciampare nei suoi bellissimi fiori dorati durante il solstizio d’estate potreste essere catapultati nel mondo fatato.
L’Iperico is also a plant called "grass of Smiles" as it is very useful in mood disorders. Legend has it that if you happen to stumble in his beautiful golden flowers during the summer solstice might be catapulted into the fairy world.
Le attività al chiuso si svolgono nell'antica stalla della casa che è stata trasformata in una splendida sala con biblioteca. Le pareti in pietra viva e le travi in legno dell’altissimo soffitto accompagneranno i momenti più belli destinati alla cultura. Quattro lucernai lasceranno entrare il cielo in ogni momento dell’anno. Il pian terreno offre settanta posti a sedere, uno schermo (con una visuale di tre metri per due), un proiettore e un impianto audio/video. Ospita inoltre una piccola ma affascinante esposizione museale dedicata all’antica cultura contadina molisana. Il piano superiore è una balconata che affaccia sulla sala sottostante. Alle pareti di pietra sono affidati i libri della nostra biblioteca. La maggior parte dei testi ci sono stati donati dalla Feltrinelli in occasione della bellissima iniziativa “Nuova vita ai tuoi libri” avvenuta nell’aprile del 2013. Tra i libri un balconcino triangolare completamente in vetro apre uno squarcio sul panorama e, simulando il volo, sporge tra il tetto sottostante e la vallata. In questa bolla sospesa tra cielo e terra c’è una poltroncina riservata a tutti coloro che desiderano leggere volando. La biblioteca è aperta a tutti e organizza incontri con gli autori e laboratori di lettura per bambini.
Gli eventi che invece avverranno negli spazi esterni possono avere come cornice lo spazio verde intorno alla piscina oppure una piccola ma magica radura dove, tra gli altri protagonisti arborei, regnano sovrane due bellissime querce secolari. Dalla radura si accede direttamente al bosco confinante. La ristrutturazione della struttura è stata possibile grazie a un finanziamento della Regione Molise al fine di creare eventi e valorizzare questa meravigliosa terra.
Tra le altre cose L'Iperico ospita e organizza feste legate alla ruota dell'anno seguendo i cicli naturali delle stagioni e filosofie di vita e sentieri spirituali radicati nel rispetto e l'amore della verde Terra.
Indoor activities take place in the old stable of the house that has been transformed into a beautiful room with a library. The stone walls and wooden beams of the very high ceiling accompany the best moments for culture. Four skylights let you in the sky at any time of the year. The ground floor offers seventy seats, a screen (with a view of three meters for two), a projector and an audio / video. There is also a small but fascinating museum exhibition devoted to the ancient peasant culture of Molise. The upper floor has a balcony that overlooks the room below. The stone walls are assigned books from our library. Most of the texts were donated by Feltrinelli at the wonderful initiative "New Life to your books" in April 2013. Among the books an all-glass triangular balcony opens a gash on the scene and, simulating the flight, protruding between the roof and the valley below. In this bubble suspended between heaven and earth there is a chair reserved for all who wish to read flying. The library is open to everyone and organizes meetings with authors and reading workshops for children.
The events that will take place instead in outdoor spaces can have as frame the green space around the pool or a small but magical clearing where, among other arboreal protagonists, two beautiful old oaks reign supreme. The clearing has direct access to the neighboring forest. The renovation of the property was made possible by a grant from the Region of Molise in order to create events and promote this wonderful land.
Among other things l’Iperico hosts and organizes parties linked to the wheel of the year following the natural cycles of the seasons and life philosophies and spiritual paths rooted in respect and love of the green Earth.
